Scene Doctor is an AI-powered analysis tool that delivers instant feedback on your scenes, loglines, and beat sheets. Think of it as a 24/7 notes session, available whenever you need fresh eyes on your work.

This isn't generic AI feedback. Scene Doctor is trained on my core screenwriting frameworks, pulled directly from posts on this blog:

The WANT Framework - Every character needs a specific, actable objective in every scene.

Scene & Sequel Structure - Scenes are action (Goal → Conflict → Outcome). Sequels are reaction (Emotional response → Dilemma → Decision). They work together like rhythm and melody.

Scene Beats Escalation - Strong scenes follow a pattern of opposition, reaction, new tactic, escalated response, and end with a twist or obliteration.

Show, Don't Tell - Kill the exposition. Let actors carry meaning through behavior, not dialogue.

I created Scene Doctor in collaboration with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. I shared my core teaching frameworks from the blog and together we built a tool that applies these principles to your scenes. Claude helped me design the interface, write the backend code, and deploy the whole thing to the web. The entire build happened in a single three hour session.

It's a cool experiment in what AI collaboration can look like for creative professionals.

Your scenes are never stored. When you submit text for analysis, it's sent to the AI, analyzed, and returned. Nothing is saved to any database. Your work stays yours. We don't permanently store your email.
