Comic Book Script: “Sgt. Fury: Shotgun Opera”
Wrote this one for Marvel back in the day. Learning comic format was a bit tricky. My buddy, Jeph Loeb, showed me the ropes. He’s one of the best scribblers in the comic game. I think the book turned out awesome with astonishing art from the late-great, Jean Paul Leon.
The story has Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos on a secret mission behind enemy lines in Yugoslavia. It’s in the early days of world war two, when Germany had just invaded the country.
