Comic Book Script - SHOTGUN OPERA

Back in 2008, I worked with Jeph Loeb on HEROES for NBC. For those who don’t know, he’s one of his generation's greatest comic book scribblers. He asked if I wanted to write a comic book for Marvel. The story was a one-shot about Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos on a mission behind enemy lines during World War II. At the time I had only written a few web comics for HEROES but under Jeph’s tutelage, I embraced the prose style of writing for an amazing artist, the late Jean-Paul Leon.
